Specifications on the aircraft bowser АТЗ-6,5-437040 (9091.00.000)
The aircraft bowser АТZ-6,5-437040 is intended for fueling of aircrafts in the prepared airpors, with the aviation fuel (in Russia, РТ, ТС-1 as per GOST 10227, in Ukraine РТ as per GSTU 320.00149943.007, GSTU 320.00149943.011) with anti-icing additive and without it. АТZ is manufactured for operation in temperate climate У1 as per GOST 15150. It is possible the operation at the air temperature up to +45ºС.

Functions
- Bottom filling of the aircraft under pressure through the one hose;
- Top filling of the aircraft through the hose Ду50 with the extension bar for the distributing pistol РП-40Г;
- Fuel agitation in the tank;
- Filling of the tank with aid of the extraneous or own pump.
Design of bowser
1. Tank
- It is of the cross section oval shape, uncalibrated, single-compartment made from the corrosion resistant stainless steel;
- There are the volume indicator of filling and the limit level alarm of filling;
- In the bottom part there are the channel and the drain system with the ball cock Ду40 for the fuel total discharge and ball cock Ду40 for the sampling
2. Chassis
- Chassis of truck МАЗ-437043 (4×2) Euro-3 specially refitted for the transportation of the dangerous cargoes (protection of the fuel tank, dumper with spark suppressor is located in advance and on right, beacon of the yellow color is installed, fire extinguisher, box for the adsorbed materials, identification nameplate);
- Protecting wings with splash guards are installed over the wheels;
- Set of SPTA(set of spare parts, tools and accessories, including the spare wheel;
- Remote control for the motor revolutions (at the parking) from the fueling station;
- Upon Customer’ request independent starting heater is installed for the heating of cooling liquid at the low temperatures of the ambient air, for the maintenance of the heating rate of the motor and cab at the parking place at the disconnected motor and at the running of the motor car.
3. Filling system
- Fueling equipment includes the necessary devices and instruments for the safety filling of the aircrafts;
- In case of the emergency onset the operator has the possibility immediately to stop the filling process by means of the pressing the emergency stop button (red color) of the motor operation.
- Fuel pipelines and on-off valves (ball cocks Ду10, Ду15, Ду20, Ду40, Ду65) are made from the stainless steel, the tightness as per GOST 9544-93, class А;
- Position of the ball cock handle is unique for the operator;
- Maximum pressure of the fuel system pump is – 4,8 kgf/cm2.
4. Pump
- Self-priming centrifugal pump СЦЛ-20-24Г is intended for the aviation fuels and ensures the performance of the ATZ operation stated parameters;
- Driving of the fuel transfer pump from the chassis motor through the power take off box and cardan drive.
5. Filter-water segregator
- Filter – water segregator ФВГк-56.516/02 (production of research and production association «Agregat», Chekhov, Moscow region) with the spare set of the filter components;
- The filter- water segregator housing made from the corrosion resistant stainless steel;
- Sampling before the filter, after the filter and sediment bowl.
6. Flow meter -counter
- Fuel counter ППВ-100-1,6СуК, the accuracy class of 0,25
(OJSC «Prompribor», Livny, Orel region) or fuel counter МКА 800 (firm «Alfons Haar», Germany); - Presence of the current GosStandart Certificate of Russia about approval of the measuring means type.
7. Filling hose
- Filling hose ОРТ-50 with length of 15 meters with nozzle of the bottom filling and the pressure regulator 60427 CDEF46K+WL 29229/25of firm “Каrter”. The distributing gun РП-40Г with an extension bar are included in the set of SPTA;
- There is an integrity testing device of the ОРТ-50 fuelling hose strings and grounding cables;
- Filling hose is located on the hose drum, the winding of the hose is performed mechanically with application of the pneumatic motor.
8. Tank loading limitation system:
When reaching the fuel limit level in the tank:
- Filling valve is closed;
- Extraneous pump (in the filling station) is disconnected;
- Light and sound signals are supplied.
9. Grounding system and fire-extinguishing means
- Two coils with grounding cables are installed on the bowzer, one coil at the end of cable has the “alligator” clamp for aligning of the potential between the ATZ and aircraft, other coil with the pin at the end of cable is used for the grounding . The winding of the cables is mechanized.
- Bowzer has the grounding circuit continuously contacting with ground;
- Bowzer is completed with fire-extinguishing means: fire blanket, two dry-chemical type fire extinguishers ОП-6 and one carbon dioxide type fire extinguisher ОУ-3 (located in the cab of chassis truck)
10.Painting of the external surface of ATZ is performed with enamel of firm «Khempel» under the color diagram as per GOST 52396-2005 with indication of the aviation enterprise name, ensign plate, garage number timely provided by Customer on the left and right sides.
11.Detail of completion:
Under the contract conditions the ATZ can be completed with the distributing hose HD50C «ELAFLEX» and the fuel counter МКА800 of firm «Alphons Khaar», Germany.
