Machines for feeding oxygen to converter

Azovmash designs and manufactures stationary (single position) and two position machines (with movable or stationary bottom part of the guide) for blowing the hot metal with oxygen from above at the converter steelmaking.   


The machines are equipped with working and standby lances, whose replacement meets minimum time – less than one minute.

 
Enterprise has developed and supplied the machines feeding over 2000 m3/min of oxygen to converter.


The stationary machines of original design enshure the replacement of the lances by simple lifting of the working lance and lowering the standby lance at its place, without the horizontal movement of the machine parts. The replacement time of lances does not exceed one minute.    

The machine for feeding  oxygen are used also for application of  skull on the converter lining  by means of slag spraying supplied through the working lance by nitrogen.
